Burgundy Mushrooms

I haven’t tried today’s Recipe of the Day (yet), but it sounds tasty & sophisticated.  If anybody else tries it out before I do, let me know how it was!

Recipe of the Day:

Burgundy Mushrooms

1/2 Cup Finely diced onions
2 Garlic cloves, peeled & chopped
110 oz can of Beef Broth
2 8 oz cans of mushrooms, drained, liquid reserved from 1 can
1/3 Cup Burgundy Wine

In a small sauce pan, sweat (read: simmer) the onions & garlic in the beef broth.  Add the ‘shrooms & reserved liquid and wine.  Simmer for another 15 minutes or until the liquid is reduced by half.  Serve warm.
