SuperBowl Week (Day 5) – Super Easy Beer Bread (repost)

This bread is SO easy to make that ANYBODY can do it!

Beer Bread

1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer  (I use Newcastle Stout Ale, but Honey Lager would be good)
3 cups self-rising flour
3 tablespoons white sugar


In a large bowl, mix together the sugar and flour. Add beer and continue to mix.  Avoid over stirring, as you want the mix to be a tad lumpy.  If you over stir, it will make the bread heavier.  Pour into a 9 x 5 inch greased loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. The top will be crunchy, and the insides will be soft.  Be sure to butter up a slice while it’s still warm!  DEELISH!!!
